System Administrator / System Architect

HEURIS is looking for someone with excellent NT administrative abilities, using SQL Server, Exchange, Visual Basic, C/C++ and the entire MS Office suite, especially MS Access and networking. Also, we work with many multimedia applications, such as Macromedia Director, Premiere, Avid, Media100, so experience with these programs is a plus.

This job requires a confident and highly skilled individual to work with both our engineering team who is one of the top application groups in the world, as well as work with our sales and marketing group which has created the image and reality of the best software MPEG encoding technology today.

Duties of this position include system design and integration with products as developed by engineering as well as system and network administration to increase the effectiveness of HEURIS' sales and marketing IT functions.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to manage chaos. Technical skilled required are: C/C++, Visual Basic/ASP, SQL programming, as well as system knowledge of PDB/BDC's, Exchange, Sequel Server, and other major NT services, UNIX experience in administration is required, Apple system maintenance is highly desired. We work in an extremely fast-paced environment, so the successful candidate will need to be able to plan and organize within rapid change. Opportunities at HEURIS are unlimited for the right person.
