Goal

To add digital video capabilities-for CD-ROMs and the Internet to existing video design, studio, scripting and production services marketed to Wall Street firms, National Speakers Association members, and other high-profile corporate clients. Products include company profiles, speaker demos, business-related training and education programs, and other multimedia sales and marketing tools.

Problem

Digital video compression methods, even new MPEG technologies, were too expensive, complicated and time-consuming, and yielded low quality results. The primary problem was that current MPEG solutions required transferring video to videotape (analog) for compression, and then back to a digital format in order to output to CD-ROM or other digital media. Service bureaus were even more costly, and added further delays to the entire production process.
