Customers Export Directly from Avid|DS HD to HEURIS’ Award-Winning Software to                    Create Multiple HD Formats.

 Las Vegas, NV, April 6, 2003: HEURIS, maker of the most widely-used professional MPEG encoding software, today announced compatibility between its MPEG Power Professional—DTV HD software and the Avid®|DS HD nonlinear postproduction system. Users can now export material directly from the Avid|DS HD to various HD formats using HEURIS’ MPEG Power Professional software. This allows users to play back materials created on their Avid|DS HD system on a variety of DTV playback devices, such as a Panasonic iDVR system, a JVC DVHS system, or an inexpensive DTV playback card such as MyHD.
