Las Vegas, NV, April 6, 2003 – Hitachi-Denshi, Ltd and HEURIS today announced that HEURIS’ new DVD ConnexIT Import Plug-in for QuickTime now works in conjunction with the new professional DVD camera from Hitachi and Apple’s Final Cut Pro editing software. This powerful new import plug-in for QuickTime allows users to import materials from Hitachi-Denshi’s CR-D10 DVD-RAM/ DVD-R recorder to QuickTime editors such as Apple Final Cut Pro for editing and export.

HEURIS’ DVD ConnexIT Import Plug-in for QuickTime is especially exciting for professionals with the Hitachi CR-D10 Recorder. With Heuris’ new DVD ConnexIT plug-in, users can simply take a disc out of their camera and put it in their DVD-RAM/ DVD-Multi drive in their computer. The data can be read instantly from the disc in QuickTime editing systems such as Final Cut Pro, edited and then exported to other desirable formats. This allows users to work in a true digital environment without digitizing, without slow file transfers, and without cables.
