- Probably the last "alpha" update to
"e". This build addresses problems with the QT
component under 3rd party applications such as Avid Media
Composer, and Media Cleaner. There is also potentially
another fix to the "black" altivec error. This
build may also correct a "green" image problem seen in
conversion of progressive content to "DVD inverse
telecine" content for DVD's. This process is commonly
used in the conversion of film content for wide screen encoding
on DVD's. To obtain the latest alpha build click here

- Another "alpha" update to the
"e" build. In this build there is a major fix to
the altivec code, which eliminates the odd "speckled"
pattern seen in some black content. Issues currently open
include a audio glitch in the QT export component, this glitch
is noticeable if the audio sample rate of the encoding template
does not match the source audio sample rate (garbled audio),
lastly there have been cases where its not possible to install
on a 10.3.5 system (this seems to be clean installed systems,
not those that have upgraded from prior OS's) Click here
to download this build.

- MPEG Power Professional 2.5 revision
"e" is released as alpha software for Apple OSX.
Any existing user of version 2.5 of our software may download
and test this by visiting this link.
This build adds support for creating files > 2gigabytes in
size. Numerous fixes are also included to support OSX
10.3.x operating systems. Included as well is a new
QuickTime component which addresses reported behavioral problems
under the newest QT releases and OS releases. This is an
alpha release, no installer is included. If you are having
problems with the existing build, you may wish to try this
release, but there are no promises.
